It began in Bay Village.
On March 1, 1971, brothers Nick and John Fragapane opened the original Bay Village bakery.
The family built the North Olmsted building in 1978 and opened its bakery doors in March 1979. Over the years, Fragapane also had locations in Olmsted Falls and Middleburg Heights. Today, the two bakeries remain in the original communities of Bay Village and North Olmsted.
Brothers Nick and Mike Fragapane carry on the family business. They grew up working in the bakery and learning the trade from their father, Nick, and their uncle, John.
Since 1971, the family has continued making recipes, serving neighbors and helping make the west side’s mornings, gatherings and celebrations a little sweeter.
